#kixspotted ST3 Low "Ascend"
The latest ST3 Low colorway is here and they are calling it "Ascend". If you are into the not so usual color blocking, then you might like this colorway. It isn't too loud or in your face wild colorway, but it is not your usual color scheme. Having a shade of pink as it's primary color with hits of black, the pink is not too loud but it is distinct. The hotmelt area or TPU fuse panel on the high-wear areas have that shine or metallic finish. Somehow, World Balance was able to balance the usage of pink color here where it is not too loud but still noticeable. This is the lowtop version of the ST3 and I think Scottie wore this a couple of weeks ago in the FIBA games and it is nice to see that we also have the chance to cop the colorways he is wearing. For tech specs, an engineered mesh upper with the hotmelt can be seen on the upper. There is the lateral Wing Cage to offer lateral support and a TPU plate underneath for more midfoot stability. S-Ride foam takes care of the midsole which is an EVA blend. I got the chance to fit them and the feel is still the same, which is responsive and not stiff. While I don't have an ST3 shoe or was not able to review them (since there are a lot of shoes to try and review) trying them on for some time would make me say that it is a versatile foam. I've tried an S-Ride foam from previous ST models so more or less I have a feel of it. It is responsive enough and light. And since it is an EVA bland, then you can be sure that it would last or not bottom out quickly. The rubber outsole is a solid rubber with a sonic grip pattern which covers your movement on court because it is a radial pattern. For sizing, go with your EUR size or better yet try them on in stores. You can get them now at World Balance stores, with these photos taken from Trinoma branch so you can be sure that there are stocks there with a retail price of Php 3,999.
