#kixspotted Skechers Full-Court Press

I've spotted these basketball kicks from Skechers.  They are calling this model Full Court Press and it could be fitting because in my opinion, the design and upon checkin its specs, it looks like this could be a great performer on court. The upper is made from engineered mesh with fuse panels to ensure durability on the side walls of the upper without adding too much weight. The shoe's design easily fits in today's trend in terms of looks. While some might say the logo makes it less streamlined because it is embossed compared to other design elements, but I think that logo branding makes the shoe not look like a generic shoe because a lot these brands are doing these kinds of modern kicks that are lightweight (and this color blocking even makes it more look generic, right?). So what makes this shoe look like it's gonna be a good on-court performer? Like I said, the mesh upper and fuse panels makes the shoe lightweight while providing some durability especially in high-wear areas like the lace eyelets and on the toe area. You can also see a TPU piece running from the mid of the shoe all the way to the heel to cage the shoe from harsh lateral movements and offering stability. The midsole is made of what Skechers call Move Foam which I think is an EVA blend type of foam. While it may not be made from supercritical foams that Skechers also have in their top running shoes for example, EVA foam is not bad as changing the foam density (in this case, Move Foam is made as a foam cushion and as an insole) can offer different benefits like being a lightweight and still offer responsiveness and as an insole offering good step-in comfort. Also, EVA foams tend to last long in terms of its lifespan. While the foam bottoming out might be an issue, it would mean that the foam will be more molded to your feet. You can also see that in the forefoot area, the foam has some broken segments or cutouts which promotes good transition in your stride compared to a more compact-like foam slab. Underneath the outsole is made from Goodyear rubber. I think Skechers has a good partnership with Goodyear as most of their performance kicks offer Goodyear rubber in their outsole which is said to provide excellent traction and durability. I hope that Skechers continue to make good-looking shoes with performance features able to go head to head with other brands as it gives more options to us consumers. The question is, are you ready to give Skechers a chance? If you are, then you can cop the Skechers Full Court Press at their Trinoma branch which retails for Php 5,495.
