BEST FOOT FORWARD: adidas Rapidmove ADV 2

Today, I will be featuring my wife's shoe for casual running, the adidas Rapidmove ADV2. While this shoe would easily fall under the training shoe category, my wife decided to use this pair for her casual running because she enjoyed the wide base of the shoe making it stable especially since she runs on road most of the time. The road or pavement that we run on isn't the best condition (Philippine roads), so there might be uneven parts or small holes on the road, the Rapidmove ADV2 will surely provide adequate stability underneath. And since we are not really runners, this is a welcome feat especially for her. Another important piece is the utilization of the adidas Torsion System in the form of a TPU plate. So whether you use it for any training activity, you are sure to be secured whether from excessive midfoot bending or from side to side movement. Also, the outsole is made up of Continental Rubber so grip wouldn't be an issue whether the road is sandy, dry, or a bit wet. The shoe's cushion is made up of dual-density foams which is Lightstrike and Lightstrike Pro. I asked her about her experience, and she said that it is not too mushy underneath and it feels like the foam molded to her foot easily providing a more natural ride but still offering impact protection. I haven't got the chance to play on a basketball shoe with a Lightstrike foam, so maybe I would also like to try on it and see what the foam has to offer when used in a basketball shoe. There are a lot of basketball kicks from adidas that uses Lightstrike, so it's just a matter of time to pick a pair and try it myself. Finally, the upper is made up of textile material which promotes a lightweight feel and breathability. The ankle collar is made up of a bootie like construction offering a sock-like feel. If you want some more lockdown, you can customize the arrangement of the laces since there are extra holes in the eyestay which you can use if you want better fit.

She bought the shoe at adidas Trinoma with a retail price of Php 6,000 which I think is a good pricepoint especially if you are looking for a good all-around shoe whether you use it in your sports activities or even as your daily kicks. You can check out the pics down below and if you are interested, just head over at adidas to snag a pair. There are bunch of colorways available so matching it with your sports getup wouldn't be a problem.
