#kixspotted Converse Wave Trainer

Today's blog post is about a 90's-inspired shoe from Converse called the Wave Trainer. A lot of brands are riding the comfort area, where they are trying to push the envelop a bit further to reach more consumers which is the right thing to do from a business standpoint as long as you are doing it right. In the case of Converse, they made a shoe whose silhouette is quite familiar especially if you are a 90's kid or grew up in the 90's. A lowtop shoe with nylon mesh and suede can be seen on the upper material and you would really think that this shoe was a part of their shoe hidden in the vault. Whether it's the branding on the tongue or the stitching in the side panels, it just screams 90s and definitely gets some plus points for me. It doesn't force itself too much but I love how they kept in minimal and no heavy tech of some sort. They just let the materials speak for itself. The midsole contains Converse's CX Foam and it feels spongy for the most part so this is gonna be comfortable during long hours of wearing and I just hope the foam doesn't bottom out quickly. For the outsole, solid rubber outsole was used and is thick enough for everyday wear. Available in 3 color varaints, the Converse Wave Trainer is now available at the Converse Store in Gateway Mall, Cubao retailing for in Php 5,790.
