The SwitchBack is another basketball shoe from World Balance that retails for 2,999 which is still falls under the budget shoe price range. Having 2 color options, the World Balance SwitchBack features a mesh upper with Hotmelt or TPU fuse panels on high wear areas. On the bottom eyelets, you can see some support pieces to help ensure better lockdown particularly at the forefoot area. When you go to the midsole, a familiar tooling was used which is a soft EVA foam cushion together with a TPU rubber piece at the forefoot placed laterally as support particularly during curls and hard cuts. The use of midsole (and outsole) tooling helps with costing since you don't have to produce a new mold in a shoe which is an added cost. If things are working, then I guess you don't have to change it often especially if you have to consider the costing. There is also the TerraSoft Insole System to add another layer of comfort underneath your foot.
