The New Balance 574 Legacy is pretty much basically your regular 574s but with some changes particularly to make the shoe durable ideal for trail or outdoor activities yet still carry that classy vibe. It has suede, leather and Cordura fabric, with the latter providing extra durability in the upper. While it does have that raw look, you can't deny that suede adds premiumness to the shoe. You can still find your standard NB brandings throughout the shoe, like the logos on the side panels tongue and heel area. For cushioning, the ENCAP foam is still present which goes from the midfoot to the heel. It is a bit exaggerated which I personally think is the highlight of the shoe when you look from a visual standpoint. We all know that the 574 is a classic silhouette, so doing some modifications like this one sprinkles some modern spice so to speak. Aside from the ENCAP foam, there is a PU foam that runs throughout the entire length of the midsole. Overall, it balances a firmer ride from the PU foam with some comfort given by the ENCAP which is EVA based. The outsole is made from solid rubber with thicker lugs to make the shoe last longer for those trail walks or even when you decide to use them as your daily kicks. Also, these come with extra laces of solid color blocking.

This is my wife's pair and she said that fit is true to size if you are interested in copping a pair. The retail price is Php 7,495 which is available at New Balance stores particularly in Trinoma and NB online.
