The last time I went to the mall, specifically in Trinoma, I saw these Vans silhouettes collaboration with Nick Michel. The Half Cab and Old Skool silhouettes were tapped for the said collaboration and I think these collaborations does makes sense because Nick Michel is a skater. I really do not know about him aside from doing a quick search. But if you are a skater or in the community or sport of skateboarding, you know that these kinds of collabs are great because it also helps Vans continue to attach themselves in the world of skateboarding. Vans and skateboarding are pretty much on the same space or conversation every time and I am pretty sure that skateboarding fans would love to get their hands on these as well. The Half Cab comes in brown suede upper with some Nick Michel brandings more prominent on the heel part. There is also a Nick Michel graphic on the insole area which is made from Vans PopCush midsole together with their Duracap vulcanized midsole. The Vans Old Skool silhouette, which is also a staple is also decked in brown with Nick Michel branding on the tongue area. Just like the Half Cab, it also has Vans PopCush insole which has more foam on the heel area to support landings while thinned out on the forefoot for more board feel.
