#kixspotted UA Curry 11 "Future Curry"

The UA Curry 11 just released a couple of days ago and I was able to check them out at their store in SM North Edsa. Now its 11th version, we've seen the Curry signature line flourish and I have to say that the shoe itself transitioned based on what Steph Curry needs particularly when we talk about performance. After all, he is already considered to be "elder statesman" in the NBA so to speak. Also, those grueling seasons and post seasons are already piling up and UA has to make sure that Curry's kicks will help him when it comes to performance benefits that he needs to perform and deliver.

This year's model is an upgrade so to speak from last year but without changing the appearance too much. If you love the look of the silhouette from the past year/years particularly it being a lowtop sneaker, then you will love this as well. The upper is what they call Intelliknit with UA Warp upper technology. Basically it is a synthetic textile with some layerings that offer stability in your movements while still giving you the luxury of having a textile upper, which is light and minimum break-in time. There are some fuse panels in the lacing area an on the toes particularly medially for toe drags. There are lacing reinforcement for a more adaptive fit and containment in the midfoot area. The highlight of this year's model would be the dual-density setup for the midsole/outsole. UA's Flow technology is still present but is now dual-density which could be more forgiving in case you want a low-to-the-ground feeling shoe with some impact protection. Like I said, Steph is already a vet in terms of playing career so while he still prefers playing low to the ground, the additional comfort that the dual-density foam gives would be beneficial during the post-season runs. The NBA season grind is tough, so I think this would help him in the long run and in years to come. For stability, there is a TPU heel counter and the base is relatively wide so together with a good fit from the upper (and finding your right size of course), would really make this shoe great especially if you love playing with a lot of court feel and nimble as well to make your cuts to the basket and other movements that would require some speed. If you want to get your hands on this, then head over at Under Armour SM North Edsa (and their other branches as well) to snag a pair. The shoe retails for Php 9,195.
