adidas Harden Vol 3 'Ren Zhe'

Aside from the Dame 5 x Ren Zhe collab, there will also be a collaboration with the Harden Vol 3. I think this would be one the CNY collection since Ren Zhe is a Chinese contemporary sculpture, known for his steel works that really looks phenomenal. For this particular collection just like the Dame 5, leather material was used predominantly on the upper which is nice since we don't usually see leather often in today's performance sneaker. It gives the shoe additional durability because of the material being sturdy compared to a textile. Don't get wrong, both materials are good options. Leather have been used in past for several decades and it just so happen that everything wants to be lightweight that's why textiles are being used. The good thing is it gives additional option for us consumers if we want a lightweight material and almost no break-in time out of the box or a more sturdier material. The cushion will remain the same which is full-length Boost foam with a TPU piece placed laterally on the forefoot area for stability together with that TPU plate underneath for torsional support. Underneath is a translucent and solid rubber combo, although personally I would want it to be just straight-up solid rubber just to be consistent with the traction.
