Stan Smith Primeknit Boost more detailed images
I was able to check out Capital's branch in Trinoma for some detailed images of the adidas Originals Stan Smith Primeknit Boost. In general, the silhouette looks the same as the OG version which features leather. Just as the name suggest, Primeknit upper replaces the leather material which makes the shoe substantially light. Not only that, but the material is soft and is breathable thanks to he non-restricting Primeknit material. The overall design is minimalist just like the OG with just a color blocking of black with green accents at the heel. The Stan Smith branding on the tongue was replaced by a transparent print of plastic so you wouldn't recognize it that much. Another major change made in this particular silhouette was the addition of a full-length Boost foam. Boost foam being chunky, adidas shaved some of the Boost to make it sit low on the floor reducing instability as well. There is no stiff strobel board inside like the Iniki runner that released some months ago. Just a thin insole can be seen inside like the NMD's or Pure Boost which results into a comfortable ride as you feel the Boost foam almost directly underneath your foot. As of today, they only offer womens sizing only and they don't have a definite date for the mens version to reach their shore. If you can't wait any longer, you might want to just find your counterpart in womens size. The shoe retails for Php 8,995 and is available at Capital Trinoma and UP Town Center branches.
