Vans X Beatrice Domond collection

I've spotted some Vans collab with Beatrice Domond at their pop-up store in Trinoma. Their actual store is being renovated so they transferred temporarily but still found on the ground floor. When check them out, I saw these 2 silhouettes to carry the said collaboration. The Zahba Mid has that familiar skate shoe look which has a dark olive shade in the upper made from Nubuck. The leather feels great and premium and you really don't see these kind of materials nowadays especially for modern silhouettes. With Vans having a wide range of timeless skate shoe silhouettes, it is good to know that they still continue to give those silhouettes "old school" materials like canvas, suede, and in this case nubuck. It has a mid cut profile with that puffy tongue that a lot of skaters love. There is an inscription of Beatrice written on the heel and inside you can find the VR3 Cush insole cushion which is one of their cushion sources made to promote sustainability. Underneath, you can find a modified waffle pattern which blend some new flavor.

For the other model, the Skate Style 53, I really think that you can wear as some kind of dress shoe just from the looks alone. It has that loafer look and the dark olive nubuck upper really complements it in my opinion. There is a custom coin inserted on the top near the tongue area which I think is really dope. You can find some Vans brandings which I find on the subtle side. Inside the Duracap midsole is a PopCush. It has some energy-returning properties which gives you comfort on the footbed. Underneath is your waffle outsole which I know to be very tacky and durable. You can get them now at Vans Trinoma and for pricing, the Skate Style 53 is priced at Php 6,498 and Zahba mid retails for Php 7,998.
