When the whole chunky shoe craze came out some years ago, Fila is one of the frontrunners particularly here in the Philippines. The emergence of the Disrupt silhouette quickly made them as one of the sought after models in their stores. I mean that was the time when you would instantly spot someone rocking a Fila Disrupt in a public place like a mall or in a park. Fast forward now, Fila brought back the Disrupt 2 and other Disrupt silhouettes as part of a collection in their stores so those who want to get a fresh pair can do so now whether it's your first time to snag a pair of just to get your hands on a fresh pair since your old one is just beaten up. So what is it about the Disrupt that a lot of people wanted to get them? Well for starters, its profile having a thick midsole and outsole that made it "chunky". Another reason would be its construction which is primarily leather. It somewhat made it a sturdy looking shoe which made it ideal to be worn for the long haul. Don't worry since the insole and even the foam used in the midsole has some give to it so while it does look like a tank buildwise, the shoe it is still comfortable to be worn the whole day. Also, the color blocking that was used makes them pair easy to pair with.
