Nike Cortez in Flyknit
The Nike Cortez is getting more love and this time will be getting some upgrades. First, Flyknit made its way on the upper giving you a sock-like fit. The Cortez itself has a slimmer look from the start and with the change of knit material will surely make it look more slimmer but would still be comfortable. There are still some OG elements present like the suede panels and leather heel counter so you can still see that Cortez look in there. Aside from that, the midsole/outsole also will get some upgrade with what looks like a lightweight Phylon with flex grooves similar to the Nike Free line. Overall, the general silhouette stays pretty close to the OG with some additional changes like the heel pull tab and of course, the material. Hopefully, fans of the silhouette will consider this as well because it is a nice way to bridge between the old and new stuff. The Nike Cortez Flyknit drops this July 4.
