#kixspotted adidas Alpha Boost V1
Another year, another chance to cop some quality kicks. With that in mind, analykix is here to give you some of the kicks that I spotted in malls. I will try my best to check out the malls that I seldom visit in the future like SM Megamall, Glorietta, SM Fairview, Ayala Cloverleaf just to name a few. So in case you are near in that area, you can check them out as well. Going to different malls to check out or feature as many kicks as possible isn't easy since I also have my day job. Then there's also my usual Best Foot Forward (A.K.A. First Impressions) and Perfomance Reviews that you usually see in my channel. So really, I will try my best to give you as much content as possible this 2023.
First, let's check out the kicks that I found a good deal if you ask me. The adidas Alpha Boost V1 is a tech-heavy shoe. Meaning, a lot can be said with the shoe's tech particularly in the cushioning area. Lets start with the upper. Engineered mesh material makes the shoe light and to be honest, I found the shoe worthy to be rocked both during casually and during your workouts. The silhouette is pretty clean and sporty so if you like have that sporty vibe, then I suggest you consider them as well. As for the tech, man, that cushioning system is divine. We have 3 cushion source for this shoe. The foam carrier consist of Bounce foam which for me still is one of the most reliable cushion source of adidas. Also in the forefoot, you get an adiprene+ which we get to see in other lifestyle kicks as well. The last time I get to review a shoe with an adiprene+ cushion was from the J. Wall signature shoe and it has a responsive feel to it. The heel section of this shoe has a Boost foam in it. We all know that Boost foam gives a lot of energy return and it is paired with adidas' Formotion to help aid with your foot transition. Underneath is adidas' Adiwear used in the outsole. However, the outsole is segmented so I really cannot tell if the rubber sections of the outsole is adiwear or only maybe some sections. But nonetheless, I hope that the traction is not lackluster since it would negate all those goodies found in the cushioning.
I said earlier that this is a good deal because the shoe retails for Php 6,500 but is now on sale for only Php 5,200 which you can get at Toby's Sport in SM North Edsa.
