Best Foot Forward: Nike Icon Classic Sandal WMNS

 

Today's Best Foot Forward post is about a sandal that my wife bought last 7.7 sale at Zalora. I must say, she really got a good deal with this one for a number of reasons. First and most importantly is the price of the shoe. She got this only for Php 1,681 from Php 2,895. Second is the shoe itself is really nice. She purchased it because of the shoe's height, as she is planning to wear it to an upcoming concert. The sandal's height is quite high as seen in the photos below. But the great thing is that while the midsole is double-stacked, it is made from a lightweight phylon foam. There is no real rubber outsole, even the outsole part is made from foam which is even cored-out to reduce some weight. It is also worth noting that the footbed of the sandal is also plush, so you can get some step-in comfort from the get go aside from the cushioning when standing or walking for long periods of time. There are 4 straps that you can adjust but getting the right size is still the best way to go here. Each strap have a Nike branding on it with the top strap having a white colored branding for some contrast. For fit, it runs true-to-size, so I suggest that choose the size that you would normally get in a Nike.

Overall, she enjoyed the sandal that she bought and I am pretty sure she is going to cop some kicks again. Maybe in the next sale this coming 8.8 perhaps. ;-) Anyhoo, here are some photos of the sandal that she bought. The box says Nike Icon Classic Sandal WMNS so let's just call  it as that.
