Under Armour's National Sneakers Day Sale

 

I was able to go to the mall again yesterday to do grocery and since we have some short time left before eating lunch, I decided to check out some stores and saw Under Armour celebrating National Sneakers Day by having a sale on their kicks. The good thing is that a lot, if not all their sneakers are on sale right now. If you want to get some Curry basketball signature kicks or the recent Anatomix Spawn 2, then you can get them on a lower price than retail. But since 5-on-5 basketball is still prohibited here in the Philippines, some people resort to other forms of physical training like circuit training with some weight training and I think this shoe that I am featuring right would really do well. This is the UA HOVR Apex Training shoe. From the name itself, you can be assured that this shoe contains Under Armour's HOVR foam in the cushioning. The familiar compression energy mesh web is still present to contain the foam which is noticeable at the heel area. In case you didn't know, the HOVR foam is UA's signature foam that provides you good amount of energy return which lessens leg fatigue. The shoe feels pretty lightweight, thanks to the mesh upper with the placement of TPU panels on the lacing area and ankle area helps provide support and stability without adding weight. You really don't want to wear a heavy shoe in doing circuit training because you do not want to experience leg fatigue especially during long workout sessions. Underneath is Under Armour's Tribase outsole which promotes natural foot motion and ground grip at the same time.
