#kixspotted Nike KD Trey 5 VII

Here is a kixspotted video also known as in-store footage on the Nike KD Trey 5 VII. You can watch a video footage below or just read along. So without further ado, let's go ahead and check out the shoe.

The upper material looks it could take a beating, as it is made of a rugged mesh. It still feels light and there are some fuse panels on the toe area. Foam pieces can also be seen on the ankle area to add some structure in there. Perforations can be seen to maybe add some ventilation in there. Don't expect it to be too breathable because there is an underlay beneath it which is basically the lining inside the shoe. The TPU piece on the lacing area will aid you in providing a more snug fit in the midfoot especially if you yank the laces pretty good.

The most interesting feature for my with regards to this shoe is its cushioning. They used a foam which they are calling Renew. I've seen this cushioning in one of their running/lifestyle shoes and from a quick look, it does resemble of Nike's React foam because of that wavy pattern in the tooling. The foam feels light but firmer if you would compare it to React. I have a hunch that they will be using this foam cushioning more in their mid-range or even budget models more. You can see it more evidently in underneath due to the translucent rubber outsole. You diggin them? Grab them now at Planet Sports in Trinoma which retails for Php 4,495.
