For today's kixspotted, we will give you some in-store images and clippings of the T-Mac Millennium. You can check out the vid and the images below.
If you happen to know T-Mac then you already know that the Hall of Famer will get retro remix of his kicks. And if are a fan of the NBA from the early 2000s, then you'll be happy to know that this silhouette is heavily influenced by his shoe. The adidas T-Mac Millenium shares a familiar shape of his shoe which is like a midtop and the famous shell-toe look which is also a nod on the shell-toe adidas back then. They stay true to the build by using synthetic leather upper which I think is a great choice so they could really highlight the shape of the silhouette from which it came from. As I said earlier, this is somewhat of a remix, as it has some modern aspects to it. Full-length Boost foam was used and just like the Harden's, there is a forefoot cage for containment of the foam making it more stable. Underneath is a translucent rubber outsole with multi-directional herringbone pattern for a good amount of floor coverage. I really like how it looks because it is a great gesture from adidas to give T-Mac some props since he is a Hall of Famer after all. You can get this now at adidas Trinoma for Php 7,000. Will, we get more T-Mac shoes in the future? Only time will tell. But if I were to ask you, what retro kicks from adidas would you want to release that will get some modern treatment?
