The Nike KD Trey 5 VI is now available at Nike Park in Trinoma. Now on it's sixth version, this mid-tier model for the KD line is true to its core balancing performance for both indoor and outdoor use in a more budget-friendly pricepoint when compared to the top-tier KD signature line (KD 11 latest model). The upper is made up of a knit material and while it is not Flyknit, materials is still desirable since textile uppers are more used and brands are even bringing them to the mid range pricepoint. A noticeable difference is the midfoot strap that runs across which adds more security to your foot. The silhouette itself looks snug enough just by judging on its looks, but the addition of a strap makes it less redundant as last years' model especially with the similar midsole tooling. For cushioning, forefoot Zoom Air was used again and a solid rubber outsole underneath. The traction pattern is made up of a wavy herringbone pattern with a pivot point. The herringbone sections are spaced moderately so this could also prevent dust buildup especially if you plan to use them outdoors or not well-maintained courts. The shoe is available now at Nike Park for a retail price of Php 4,495.
