Best Foot Forward: World Balance Game Evolution

Due to multiple queries about the shoe (and the brand as well), I decided to cop the World Balance Game Evolution. Yep, you heard it right. Home grown brand World Balance makes its way here at Analykix because it has been my philosophy to try to give the less popular brands a space in my platform. In the next coming weeks, I will be using them and will be playing in them and will do a performance review. Sadly, I cannot find the tech specs in World Balance's website so let's make our own rundown of the shoe.

It features a lowcut profile with the upper made up of textile material. There is a soft TPU in the ankle area for lockdown. Cushioning is made up basic EVA but they added their Terra Soft Insole System for added comfort. It is removable so you can see a sample image of the insole below. The outsole is a translucent rubber outsole with blade traction pattern. From initial try-on, it squeaks really good so I have this continue during the testing process. For sizing, I usually go for size 9 because I prefer some wiggle room. For this particular model, they don't have half sizes and I am size 8 in these with desired wiggle room included. I suggest you try them on in stores because sizing could be tricky. The shoe retails for Php 2,199 which I think is the highest pricepoint in their basketball performance line. With that being said, it still is relatively cheap if you are going to compare this to other brands. Feel free to check the images below (S/O to my cousin Daniel for the assist) and don't forget to tell your insights as well. I am really excited to play in these and will be trying them out by next weekend because I'm still in the process of reviewing another shoe that I bought earlier.
