Rumor has it that this is supposed to be Kawhi's signature shoe with Jordan Brand. But since he turned down that deal, Jordan Brand still released it under a different name (although it could still be nod to him). Calling it Jordan Fly Lockdown, it features a woven upper which looks durable. They even added some fuse panels on high-wear areas. It shoe feels light and it could be beneficial to player positions 1-3. Cushioning is composed of a forefoot and heel Zoom unit in a phylon midsole. The solid rubber outsole has some circular traction pattern combined with some herringbone so you get multi-directional grip. You can see that the shoe draws inspiration from past Jordan kicks as well which isn't bad. However, that odd/clunky looking piece in the midsole near the heel area kinda throws me off but in general, I actually like the whole look and built of the shoe because it is suitable to Kawhi's play style (lockdown D). Another plus points is that the price on these is just Php 5,795 which is considered to fall under mid-tier price range. The shoe is available now at Nike Park in Trinoma.
