Dr. Martens is always associated with high quality leather boots. I remember the first pair I had was when I was a freshman in high school and that shoe lasted for 3 years. The shoe is worn out that time but the sole is still intact and the leather is fine. It's just that I bought another leather shoe during my senior year but I'm pretty sure the shoe would have lasted till I graduated.
