Really? Stan Smith with Boost? Yup, you heard it right. They are planning to do a Boost version of the Stan Smith. The Stan Smith's popularity has gained another breath of life earlier this year with lots of sneakerheads started to notice the classic look of the silhouette. And now, Adidas will be doing a revamp by adding their top cushion source to date, Boost foam. From the image above, you can see that nothing has changed in the upper. Meaning, it is still leather so it is just the midsole and outsole that will be changed. Personally, I would like it to be caged just like what they did in the DRose 7, Crazylight Boost, and Crazy Explosive (caged laterally and free on the medial side). That way, you can still preserve the slim look of the silhouette. I'm not sure if they will be making some modifications in the future, but this is scheduled to drop on February next year and will be tagged at $120.
