Lebron Soldier 10 is now available

I think this will be the first time that Nike will make a performance basketball sneaker without any traditional laces (correct me if I'm wrong). I think this is a bold move and I will be honest, the moment I held them in my hand, I have a feeling that Nike will be able to pull this one off well. As I said earlier, there is no traditional laces or lacing system present here. However, 3 large velcro straps strategically placed on the forefoot, midfoot, and at the high-ankle areas can be seen. In theory, these areas play a vital role in fit and locking these points can give the wearer a good fit.

Going to the other materials, multi-layer mesh was used although I am not sure if it will still be breathable since there are many layers and it might negate breathability. But I think the use of this material is not because of breathability but it offers a lightweight feel and provides structure good enough to complement the lockdown attributes of the velcro strap. There is also a padding inside the shoe to give you a snug fit and removing as much dead space as possible. For cushioning, heel and forefoot Zoom Air which just like last year's model will give you the responsiveness and court feel. Finally, rubber outsole was used with nubs on it although I do not know if it will hold well on outdoor courts, but this might be fine on clean courts. These are available now at Planet Sports Trinoma for a retail price of Php 7,195.
