Jordan brand unveils Carmelo Anthony's 12 signature shoe. Although nothing much has been told with regards to the tech specs, we could safely assume that there isn't any new tech introduced here but they will implement their recent techs which will hopefully sync with Melo's playing style. Synthetic mesh where used predominantly with fuse overlays in the hi-wear areas. For lockdown, similar to Flywire lacing system will be used for a more adaptive fit. A foam based tongue combined with mesh for a comfort fit without pinching sensation in the laces when tied tightly. There is a heel counter which you can see evidently in the images (with graphics on it) to contain your heel in the shoe. As for cushioning, segmented Zoom Air units are located in the forefoot combined with their Flight Speed System. While I haven't got the change to try the whole Flight Speed System, it seems like Jordan Brand will be continuing to use them as we are seeing them being utilized in their various models. Lastly, a multi-direction traction pattern was used for a good court grip. These are scheduled to drop on January 2 with a retail price of $160.
