#kixspotted Anta Attack 6
Here is another basketball shoe from Anta that released just recently. They are calling this, Anta Attack 6 which is not to be mistaken with the Attack 6 from the Shock the Game series. Honestly, I really think that they should find ways to name their kicks. I mean it doesn't help the consumers if their product line have the same names because there are a LOT of kicks in the market nowadays -- from different brands, and the only thing they could at least do to separate their product from the rest (aside from being good) is a catchy name. And to make things more complicated, the name of the shoe sometimes are different from its global release. However, I still think that Anta falls into the Chinese kicks category that is offering quality kicks at a good pricepoint. In fact, most of their products have excellent tech particularly in the cushioning department even if they are on the mid-tier pricepoint which I really appreciate from consumer standpoint.
This shoe features a textile mesh upper with some fuse overlays for durability. It feels like any modern shoe which is versatile for both indoor or outdoor use. There is a TPU piece found on the lateral side of the shoe for support especially during hard cuts. It feels like Anta made this shoe with just reliable materials, no extra gimmicks which minimizes overall weight, perfect for quick players. For me, I don't mind if a shoe looks plain and simple, as long as there enough support pieces and it helps the user perform well. However, I also think that style-wise, the shoe looks okay and not too plain so it is still good. For cushioning, Anta's A-Shock Pro was utilized and I while I have tried Anta's A-Shock tech from different kicks, I would assume that the A-Shock Pro is more resilient and offers more bounce. Maybe, I will try them soon to let you guys know how the cushion plays. Finally, a thick rubber outsole was used with herringbone traction pattern that looks aggressive. This is a Chinese brand of basketball shoe, so 90% of the time, these kind of kicks are great for both indoors and outdoor courts. Tagged at Php 4,595 and comes in 4 colorways, you can get them now at Anta store in Trinoma.
