Best Foot Forward: World Balance Neobasics Collection Invictus and Kaia

World Balance is on fire this last quarter of 2022. Just last week, we have been teased by World Balance with another collection using their Invictus and Kaia silhouette. They dubbed it as their Neobasics collection. The Invictus, as well as the Kaia have been tapped to represent some of World Balance's hottest collection. Both silhouettes carried the City Pack as well as the Monochrome collections with great support from people who love the modern look of the having that chunky shape that offers great comfort at a very affordable price. With the homestretch of 2022 coming upon us, people are getting used to the "new normal" and as we have that sense of normalcy again, World Balance is here to help us transition smoothly as we return face-to-face in our work/school again.

Going back to the basics, the Neobasic collection once again have the Invictus and Kaia, as they carry a more cleaner color blocking with a somewhat conservative look. For the Invictus, you have a grey or beige choice in color blocking, while the Kaia have white and beige colors to choose from. The material makeup for both models offer a nylon mesh with synthetic leather and suede panels. The World Balance brandings can be seen on the tongue as well as on the heel panel and underneath the TPU plate. While the shoe's color maybe on the conservative side, cushioning gets an upgrade with the use of Spring Foam midsole and your Bounce Pad Insole System. The Spring Foam was first used on the Secret Fresh More Good Less Evil Jelly Bean colorway that released last October and a lot of people enjoyed the new cushion source, as it offer some bounce to your step. If you were to ask me, I love this new foam. Sure, the OG Invictus is comfortable, but this Spring Foam amps it up a notch and it really makes me hopeful that we see this foam used in World Balance's performance kicks particularly in basketball in the future. Also, the Neobasic collection will have a gum outsole which is very tacky and you can hear that squeak sound especially when the floor that you walk on is relatively clean.

For the shoe's price, the Invictus retails for Php 2,599 and the Kaia Php 2,499. Sure it does have a price increase, but considering the new foam used and the additional comfort that it brings, I would say that the small price increase is well justified and it is still affordable if you were to ask me. The shoe released today, November 28, 2022 and I have spotted some pairs at World Balance store in Trinoma and I am pretty sure you can also get them at their webstore and select World Balance stores.
