Best Foot Forward: Nike Zoom Span 3.0
Here is what the wife bought last 12.12 sale at Zalora. Here in the Philippines, retail stores find a way to incorporate a sale in every month of the year and 12.12 (December 12) is the classic example with 11.11 being one of the biggest sale of the year (especially online). I really can't blame companies because this is an effective way to keep the economy rolling considering out global situation right now. Also, since most of these sales are done or promoted to be online, this makes shopping at bit easier and most importantly, safer since you don't have to go to a physical store promoting "social distancing". Php 2,500 at Zalora webstore.
So this is the Nike Zoom Span 3.0, which my wife will use mainly for her light jogging around the neighborhood. The material is very modern having engineered mesh material for the upper with some fuse panels in the high-wear areas for durability. This makes the shoe light and very ideal for workouts or maybe even during quick errands perhaps. The color blocking itself is pretty neutral so you won't have problems paring this with your workout clothes or any casual wear. It is pretty lightweight also with flywire cables found in the lacing system for support. For cushioning, a lightweight phylon foam was used with Nike Zoom Air inside the forefoot area. I think this is the rectangular shaped Zoom Air bag underneath the foam. I think responsiveness will not be too drastic but it can give a bit of feedback in case you need it. This shoe is not mine so I have no way of confirming that exactly but from what I heard, she enjoys the cushion as it is lightweight with a bit of bounce. Finally, a rubber outsole was used with traction pattern which could be okay for casual running.
Overall, I think she made a good purchase with this shoe as it fits the way she intends to use it which is for some light workouts and even for quick errands. Check out the images below and for those who own a pair, maybe you can share some of your experience down below the comment section.
