#kixspotted Nike Renew Elevate

The Nike Renew line is being more and more visible since Nike decided to use this cushioning and spread it their various lines like running, lifestyle, and of course, basketball. This post is all about Nike's basketball shoe which is on the budget side which has the Nike Renew and they dubbed it the Nike Renew Elevate. This shoe is pretty similar to Kevin Durant's budget shoe line, the KD Trey 5 because if I'm not mistaken that shoe have been using the Renew cushion for the past few releases. The Nike Renew Elevate is made up of a mesh upper with larger vents being used also for some good amount of airflow. The upper is pretty thin which makes it also lightweight. Speaking of lightweight, Renew cushion was used primarily and runs full-length. Aside from the Renew cushion, they also used a more firmer foam which you can see on the heel area. It isn't too firm but you will notice that it is firmer than the Renew cushion. That firm foam that's housed in the heel area helps break the brunt force during heel strikes. If I'm not mistaken this setup is what separates this shoe from the latest KD Trey 5 shoe (aside from the upper material). Finally, a solid rubber outsole was used with a traction pattern resembling a ripple which provides a multi-directional pattern. Two colorways are available now retailing for Php 3,695 at Toby's Store in SM North Tower.
