Nike Air Max 1 'Sketch to Shelf'

The Air Max 1 silhouette is one of those classic models from Nike that gets re-released time and time again whether it's a new colorway, a collaboration, or just re-introducing the OG colorways. This time around, Nike played with the idea of putting the actual sketch of the shoe, on the shoe. This "Sketch to Shelf" pack features to variants which carries the sketch ideas of Tinker Hatfield, the one who is responsible for designing the shoe in the exact part of the shoe. This gives that deconstructed vibe but instead of materials, sketch ideas or design. You can even see the color placements with the red and grey marker-like shade on the shoe which for me is the nicest touch all. Overall it's like bringing the sketch design to life literally and I wish they should have released this earlier on Air Max Day just to pay homage to the whole "birth" of the shoe. But hey, the good thing is we'll be seeing this on select retailers and at Nike.com this weekend, July 13, 2019.
