kixspotted: Jordan Proto React
Taking some design cues from a space suit, the Jordan Proto React is a new silhouette from Jordan Brand's Flight Utility line. While it looks like a basketball shoe, let me point out that this is intended as a lifestyle or casual shoe as there are very support little structures present in the shoe which makes playing in them inefficient. The upper is made up of a lightweight material that forms like a shroud and underneath it is a bootie construction. There is a heel strap to give you a somewhat custom fit together with a customizable lace loops, but as I said this is not intended for basketball because of an absence of a sturdy heel counter. React foam was used in the midsole and I really don't know whether the consistency of the React foam used was similar to their running line or their basketball line (I hope from the running shoe) because it would add another layer of comfort. Underneath is a combination of a milky white and solid rubber outsole with a traction pattern that they are calling an exaggerated herringbone pattern but reminds me of a brain for some reason. Nonetheless, the shoe has that high-end fashion look because of the spacey-looking build and comes in 3 colorways which you can get now at Nike Park for Php 7,645.
