kixpsotted: Jordan Max Aura

Here is an in-store footage of what could be one of those shoes that you can rock both on and off court, the Jordan Max Ultra.

I said this because of the material buildup consisting of leather and nubuck which a lot of old sneakerheads can relate to. Back in the day, this was the thing, having a reliable source of material that could give the shoe structure and durability because it is thick. The downside is that just like those kicks back in the day, they tend to be bulky and on the heavy side. However, they are still functional and actually is something you won't see often on the court because it's not one of those kicks out there that are made of textile and one-piece upper materials. For the cushion, phylon midsole with an Air Max unit in the heel takes care of impact protection. I could say this could somewhat provide you with impact protection that you need especially in the heel area. Lastly, the solid rubber outsole is thick enough to withstand different court surfaces whether it's indoor or outdoors. And as I said, in a day where retro kicks are being worn casually, its retro vibe is a good choice in my opinion. Two colorways are available now at the Athlete's Foot store here in the Philippines particularly at Vertis North and retails for Php 6,295.
