kixspotted: New Balance 574 v2 (Vintage Pack)

If you happen to be in the Trinoma mall, then I suggest you check out New Balance's newly renovated store. There are a lot of hidden gems out there and you might even consider the kicks they have there to add to your sneaker rotation. An example of this is the New Balance 574 v2 (Vintage Pack). The 574 silhouette is one of the classic silhouettes from the brand which is a good choice if you want a classic-looking shoe that is functional and durable. This time around, the v2 of the shoe takes this retro model and switch it up a few notches up to catch up with today's trend of "athleisure" kicks where performance and lifestyle looks go hand-in-hand. Classic materials of leather and suede combined take up most of the upper with mesh underlays to give the shoe a classic shape but still be functional, as it is breathable. You can also see the classic branding placements on the tongue and on the side panels which is a nod to its roots. The cushioning is made up of FreshFoam which gives you a comfortable ride. The rubber outsole is also thick and kinda chunky which is what today's trend is at. Since the outsole is thick, you can be sure that it's gonna be durable so you can wear them every day.

Another side note is that regarding these particular colorways that represent the Vintage Pack, I personally love the way it looks because of its "worn look" from the get-go. I am one of those guys who don't mind getting my shoes dirty especially because I really wear them till it's time to buy another pair. While a lot of sneakerheads do want a pristine-looking shoe most of the time, I am one of those dudes who don't mind a wearing a "worn shoe", as it tells you that the shoe is really functional to the point that you like to wear them everyday. So if you are like me, then you will love this too. You can get them now at various New Balance stores with this particular pair spotted at New Balance in Trinoma and retails of Php 6,995.
