The latest wave of adidas performance kicks for basketball is already available in the Philippines and here is a silhouette that I saw yesterday at Toby's Sports in SM North Edsa. The adidas Pro Vision really reminds me of a rugged basketball shoe that is built for both indoor and outdoor courts. The upper material is made up of textiles with some synthetics and leather panels making it a well-rounded shoe. It has an odd shape to me but kinda reminds me of a 90s shoe, maybe this is what thy are trying to achieve especially that chunky looking midsole where the Bounce cushion is located. The rubber outsole is thick which I'm sure would be great for outdoor use as well. The only thing I am not feeling is the over-exaggerated tongue, as it might dig up your skin especially if you are used to playing socks that have a lower cut. But everything else looks good to me, and considering that retail price of Php 5,000 I'm pretty sure this could be a good item to include at your Christmas wish list.
