We have first seen the Nike's React foam in their basketball line and now they have their sights in the running game. I think this is t first time that we will see the React in a running shoe so let's see how will this play out. Dubbed as the Nike Epic React Flyknit, the key techs are already present in the name itself which is the React and Flyknit. The overall look is pretty clean and basic with the Flyknit being used in the upper. Nike said that this React foam is softer than their standard Phylon foam and made thicker to prevent it from bottoming out or over-compressing. To shave some weight because of this, we can also see that rubber outsole is only located on the forefoot and heel area which are primarily strike zones where you need the rubber outsole. It looks pretty lightweight and they could be a good choice for both physical activities (training) or for lifestyle use. No word yet for the retail price but they are schedule to release on February 22.
