Best Foot Forward: Li-Ning Shadow Walker 2017

Today's Best Foot Forward features the Li-Ning Shadow Walker 2017. I got this particular shoe at In Soles. They are based in the Philippines so this great news for Pinoy ballers who are looking for options on where to cop their next basketball shoe. Known for selling some Chinese Kicks such as Anta, Li-Ning, Peak, and 361 Degrees, mostly basketball shoes but they have some lifestyle kicks as well. It's just an online store though, but the good thing is that it has earned its reputation in the Chinese Kicks Facebook community here in the Philippines and what they offer is some of the models from these brands that you don't usually see in the market, or if they available in the market, this one is much cheaper. The people behind the store are very accommodating and their vision is to give you quality kicks without spending too much by giving you the best deal as possible. Of course, being an online-only store, I have my doubts as well in the beginning. But since they are also members of the Chinese Kicks Community here in the Philippines and some members have already done their purchases and made some good feedback, I decided to try them myself. So this shoe and another shoe that will be coming soon (Clue: Anta shoe) were the ones I purchased. Transacting with them is easy. They have a Facebook Page <CLICK HERE> where you can find the shoes that they have on-hand or upcoming kicks. If you find something that you like, you can message them ask for the size availability. Be sure to give the right size to prevent the hassle of having to ship the goods back and forth. They respond pretty quickly so you can easily do your queries there like payment options or if you want to do meetups or shipping. I suggest doing meetups just for the simple fact that while having the item shipped is a no-brainer in a busy world that we live in, it is great to transact things organically once in a while and maybe to ease away some of your doubts. Before I forgot, I got this shoe for Php 3,500. Steal price, right.

For the shoe's tech specs, I've checked out Hi-Basketball Shoes and this is what I saw.

Materials: Textile + TPU + Synthetic
Sole: EVA + Rubber
100% Authentic
Tech: Li-Ning Cloud; Dynamic Shell
Highlight.
2017 CBA sponsor professional basketball shoes.
The Black Lava inspired one piece lightweight and breathable upper.
TPU support on midsole.
Li-Ning Cloud tech for cushion performance.
Dynamic Shell tech for protect and support on basketball court.
High quality detail from Li-Ning.

The quality of the shoe is good, just like what you see in the mall because the owner of the store travels to China to get the stocks. It features a combination of knit upper and synthetic and mesh, with the knit material can be see on the toe area. The medial and lateral is made up of synthetic and it does feel light upon my initial try-on. I get size 9 which is my usual size and for this particular model, I got the fit of the shoe right on the money. It features Cloud cushion which feels more forgiving that what I experienced from the WoW All-City Encore 2 so I hope I will enjoy this shoe during the testing phase. Be sure to keep it locked here since I will doing a performance review on this shoe in the coming days. But for the meantime, here are some of the detailed images of the shoe.
