We are seeing sneakers crossing different dress attires and while it is very versatile, it takes some confidence and good choice of clothes overall to wear it during special events where people dress up pretty nicely. If you know me, I am not really a fan of leather shoes/dress shoes because I find the bottom very slippery and my feet gets tired easily due to poor cushioning and I wore sneakers during some events. For not so formal events, this collaboration from Fragment and Converse might even help you in your attire. This Converse All-Star '70 features a twill fabric upper construction with different design schemes similar to how suits look. From the classic black, white, grey or even pinstripe, they have it to match your suit. They even have pairs intended for the women where the heel area has some lace design to it. The collaboration logo/branding can be seen on the heel tag as well. It also features the classic canvas insole for that old-school vibe. The said collection drops tomorrow in the US, February 16, 2017 for $120 and will be available on selected retail stores, Converse stores, and at Converse.com.
