Another mid-level shoe from adidas dropped recently and it is from the continuously-growing D Rose line. I just wish adidas would just minimize slapping the D Rose name from every shoe and while I understand it from a marketing standpoint, this shoe could be a good on-court performer and could do well on its own just by the materials used and the fact that it is moderately priced. The D Rose Menace 2 looks like a midtop shoe and features a knit upper although adidas did not called this a Primeknit but still, it feels comfortable enough and would require little to no break-in time at all. Another variant is also available in black which is made up of a somewhat synthetic nubuck with both colorways utilizing a synthetic leather in the heel and ankle area. Adiprene+ takes care of your cushioning which is great considering that there came a point where having a shoe priced like this from adidas would only offer EVA foam so this once again proves that adidas is doing great strides with this decision. Finally, Adiwear provides a quite durable outsole ideal for outdoor use. The shoe retails for Php 4,995 and is available now at Planet Sports Trinoma.
