The Air Jordan 1 Ultra High gets a different upper just in time for winter. A combination of a canvas and textile material was used for the upper while the ankle sleeve is still made from a neoprene like material for some compression. For some OG sneakerheads, they don't want their models getting material makeovers and they want it as close to the OG release as possible (even the quality and techs used). But for me, I kinda appreciate them now and just keeping in mind that they might offer something new (hopefully a good one) compared to the OG release. But of course, releasing retro models in OG colorways is always appreciated especially if they are almost identical as the first original release. Speaking of release, these are projected to drop this holiday season for $150.
