If you are keeping up with the Rio Olympics particularly the USA men's basketball, you might be checking out what your favorite player in the team is rocking. This is also an opportunity for shoe brands to give their athletes some team USA PE. Here is what Adidas gave to Kyle Lowry who also plays for the Toronto Raptors. A dark obsidian Jacquard upper was used with red being the secondary color. You can see Kyle Lowry's logo on the tongue and the name of his children on the inside giving the shoe a more personalized vibe. Hits of white was used as well to represent the red, white and (somewhat) blue. A translucent TPU cage was used to wrap the Boost foam in the forefoot area. This was used to give support the lateral portion while freeing the medial side so it would not cancel out the Boost's energy return properties. Finally, solid rubber outsole with camo design which is another nice touch. Here are more images as well as some action shots for you to feast on.
