Here is what I saw yesterday at the NBA Store in SM Megamall. The Anta Rondo Speed Series looks like it packs a strong punch as it features their A-Web material which is knit to give you comfort. There are fuse overlays in high-wear areas especially in the sides and toe rand to provide some support that a soft material like this lacks. The cushioning system is made up of EVA with A-Core tech which you can find in the forefoot to give you propulsion or explosiveness in your step. There is a carbon fiber plate in the midfoot for torsional support and Anta's Control-5WD in the outsole for court grip. The shoe retails for Php 6,995, which is kinda expensive considering that this is not yet Rondo's signature shoe. However, if the tech used here prove to be beneficial, then this might be worth a cop.
