It seems that Nike will be pushing their laceless basketball sneaker a notch further with this Zoom Soldier model. A high-cut collar with 3 large straps to secure your forefoot, midfoot, and high ankle area to replace the use of laces. The shoe's upper features a mesh upper with perforations for breathability. Zoom Air takes care of your responsive cushioning needs which is placed on the forefoot and heel area. It looks like Nike could pull this one well once again just like their Zoom Soldier 9, as having a good fit is the key here. The shoe (just from an observation) looks snug even though it is made up of soft material while the large straps makes sure that your foot is perfectly locked in place. Also, having the shoe in a high-cut adds security as well preventing your foot to pop out of the shoe especially when you utilized the high-ankle strap properly.
