Another team model from Adidas Basketball dropped recently and it surprisingly caught my attention because of the model's name. Dubbing it as Crazylight 2.5 Active, it does have some tech changes but I wouldn't call it a step back since the Crazylight 2 features an EVA midsole, this shoe features a full-length adiprene plus. The traction even looks good and offers multi-directional herringbone pattern. The Sprintweb was ditched here in favor of a textile upper with mesh panels near the toebox. Yes, it is not Boost but this could be very ideal for a mid-level shoe. Having this kind of model makes you think Adidas will be upgrading their models with adiprene+ being the cushion source of their mid-levels while Boost and Bounce might head towards the higher tier models. What do you think? Are you feeling this shoe model? This is available now at Adidas Trinoma and retails for Php 4,495.
