Chris Paul's 9th signature shoe with Jordan Brand is now available. The shoe looks supportive upon quick inspection although pretty straight forward in terms of looks. The lacing system has been modified wherein you have bands that run across the midfoot for more lockdown. I wonder why they did not release a launch colorway carrying the Clippers theme. I'm not complaining at all because I like this yellow/black colorway, just wondering. Going back to the shoe's specs, the upper is composed of somewhat mesh with foam underlays similar to the SuperFly. There are some leather panels which is a nice touch giving the shoe a balanced modern look. The shoe's cushioning is made up of chambered Zoom Air in the forefoot so you will get some court feel with responsiveness. The sad part is there is no special heel cushion, just straight up Phylon, but as long as it absorbs the impact well, there is nothing to complain about. Two colorways are now available which you can find at Toby's Sports Trinoma and retails for Php 6,745. You can check out some of the detailed images below.
